The Aatsinki Season is an interactive companion to the feature documentary Aatsinki: The Story Of Arctic Cowboys. While the film creates an immersive atmosphere that draws the audience into the lives the Aatsinki family, the interactive is focused on the issues.

Told in the second person, it brings each participant face-to-face with the challenges of being a reindeer herder in Finnish Lapland and examines how similar issues affect agricultural communities worldwide.

The interactive unfolds over the course of a year, in lockstep not just with the film but also with the herders' lives.
